"Internal Coastlines" is the first album to make use of beat and form
in a semi-standard song structure, the effect of my time in Berlin has
shown itself. The previously prohibited pop-electro influences have
finally filtered into the character of such songs as Flips, Blood on
the Mat, and Aufladegerät. Culminating with the satire Ikkyo (the first
in the cut-up trio).
A renaissance devotional choir piece is re-imagined with electronic
instruments and combined with the sounds of our every-day in He Enfolds
an impressionist piece, Das Reich der Wolken, is humanized by the
contribution of long-time collaborator Hampus Melin on Drums...
and the album is concluded with the enigmatic location of September 8th
